A. You need to update all your blogs so they are at least 3.0.
B. I thought it would be a good idea to get an idea of what weaknesses hackers look for in WP blogs and this article covers that very subject – enjoy.

Hack Attack: Just How Secure Is Your WordPress Blog

People with Internet and web experience of all levels have worked to make sure that their websites, web service accounts and browsers were as safe as they could be from computer hackers. However, the hackers practice an old baseball saying which goes, “If you want to be a success you have to hit ‘em where they ain’t.”

How often do you find your time wasted in research?

How tired are you by the end of the day?

Most people are looking for a solid system on how to make money, but rarely do you find helpful suggestions on how to stay on track. Think about it. How many days go by and you have hardly accomplished half of the work you had intended to get done?

How easy is it for you to get wrapped up in reading newsletter or emails etc…?

What about your physical status? Are you tense? Does your body ache from sitting too long at your PC?

Today when I was out on my morning walk I started to think about how important these walks are to me. Almost without fail I will walk along the river trail for about 1.5 hours. I take about 15 minutes to sit and enjoy the river flowing along. Sometimes during the salmon season I get to watch the salmon jumping full body out of the water.

I’ve seen bob cats, bald eagles, little bunnies and a wide variety of birds on this trial. During the winter months the sunrises are outstanding and it is simply the best way to get my day going.

Many hours of each day I can be sitting in my favorite chair working online. It is very important for me to get my body exercise.  You would be surprized at how much walking can benefit your online business.

Your mind and body both need time to rest from your computer world. My walks help me think about what I want to do that day. Where I want my business to be going. Where I’ve made mistakes and how I’m going to fix them.

Not to mention the overall health my body is able to obtain from this daily walk I take. I’m a little bit obsessed with this walking thing but it is very healthy for me to be outside as much as I can spare.

If you have the ability to walk outside and get some fresh air – do it! Take the time to walk everyday if at all possible. Where do you find the time? Do you watch TV? Well, there ya go. Take time from watching TV. Walking is far better for your mind and body then watching that TV.

Those of us who have to site most of the day NEED to think about exercise. In the winter, I walk two times a day. It’s too hot here in Redding to do it any later than 7:00 am so I have to wait until Sept. to increase my walks to two times per day.

On your walks you can think of your daily, weekly, and long term goals. Often times I will record my thoughts in my cell phone so I don’t forget what I wanted to do by the time I get home.

Remember, making money online is all up to YOU. YOU must make sure you take care of your mind and your body so you can run this race to the profiting finish line! It’s up to you – now get outside and get some exercise!

I then took a trip on over to Google’s Adwords to see what people are interested in regarding the brain and found quite a nice assortment of keyword phrases.  Brain vitamin was one that actually has a .org domain name still available. I didn’t buy it… I already have too many to work with and I don’t have time to do too much more research but I wanted to walk you through the process of finding a profitable niche.

Okay, so “brain vitamin” has 18,000 searches per month and $1.87 is the top cost in Adsense. I then went to Commission Junction and looked to see what was there for any type of Brain Affiliate programs and found about 6. One of them offered 10% on some of their programs that cost $300-$400.00. Not a bad commission. I also checked out Amazon and there are plenty of brain vitamins in there to promote as well.

The competition for this keyword phrase is 62,000 in quotes.

The next thing I did was I checked to see if people are interested in brain improvements and went to 43things.com. Turns out people are looking to improve their memory quite a bit so…

Looks like this is a nice niche to dig into. Good amount of searches and there are some good keyword phrases with low competition.

Recently I’ve been working on a new profit plan. It is like AutoCashContent but slightly different in how you set it up. In fact it’s faster. I don’t want to spill the beans just yet. I want to finish building my website I have selected for it first. But I’m very happy with the video training and various other goodies that are included. The best thing is it’s a one time payment which is always nice.

There are so many ways to make money online that it really can become rather exhausting just thinking about it. Personally, I want to find a way to do it that does not require hours and hours of work. ACC is good because you can build your site and set it and forget it. But… it takes about 8 hours (if you’re new and don’t clone) to set up a site.

This new program takes less than 30 minutes if you pay someone to write three articles for you. I am actually making it harder as I’m setting up a newsletter to go with it. I like the subject so I guess I’m doing more than I have to.

Anyway, I wanted to share with you how I look into a niche idea. This time it came from a title in my spambox, but hey, discovering a new niche is really just about keeping your mind open to new ideas.

People are so skeptical today, and they really should be. Imagine getting a phone call from someone saying, “Hi, my name is Joe and I found $7,000 of unclaimed money in your name.”

Of course that approach would probably not work. Too bad because if there was a way I could get a percentage of the unclaimed funds I’d start making phone calls. Lots of money out there just sitting and collecting dust.

I finally decided to share the information with people via video in order to encourage them to join the newsletter on the blog that contains financial resources.

There are several ways this video is going to help me.

1. It will drive traffic to my site directly from Youtube, Metacafe etc…

2. It will encourage people to join my newsletter by building trust in what I have to say because I just shared with them one pretty awesome tip.

3. Other people will place my video on their blogs and I’ll get more traffic.

The more traffic I get, the more Adsense I’ll earn, plus I have several affiliate programs and CPA offers I’m testing out.

What’s the point?

When you find something valuable, don’t be afraid to share it with people freely. This is what the wealthy affiliates are doing when they launch their new products. They share some really great tips for free and give you more if you join their newsletter.

Then they continue to give you more free tips in order to entice you to buy their product. This works very well.

If you’re wondering about unclaimed money that may be in your name, just go to Google and type in the keyword search term ,unclaimed money plus your state. It’s as easy as that. Some states have a really poor database and you won’t be able to look up that information online. However, there are plenty of stats where you can find this information quite easily.

In just 15 minutes I found over $10,000 of unclaimed money, including death benefits from what I think is from my grandmother that passed away years ago. It’s amazing how much money is unclaimed. I saw quite a few people in just one list that included my maiden name with over $5,000 in their name unclaimed.

I’m pretty sure people are going to enjoy that video and tell others about it. I’m hoping it goes viral. Maybe it won’t, but there are places that charge $39.00 for the information I just put on a video for free.

I have to get my newsletter for this blog up and running before I can upload the video. I’ll let you know how well the video does and if it helps my overall traffic and profits on that site.

Speaking from the webmaster or blogger’s point of view the greatest benefit one can derive from Web 2.0 is that of search engine traffic. And the reason why this is true is because the more Web 2.0 properties you include in your own Internet business via website or a blog perhaps even podcasts or video you will find the search engines quite generous in how they view this activity which results in sending you targeted traffic should you use as well as choose how would you use Web 2.0 in your Internet business.

Many people today consider the Internet an avenue that they can explore for obtaining a vast amount of information as well as technology in many cases for free. However regarding Web 2.0 while this still holds true, one of the most rewarding properties of Web 2.0 would have to be that of the webmaster or blogger making use of it in such a way as to promote their own online business venture.

I did mention website because even though the website by itself is static, by adding a variety of Web 2.0 properties into the website it can be turned into an environment considered to be an exchange between both the visitor and the creator or author.

Perhaps you still have a website and you’d like to take the stagnant properties of your website and create a more inviting environment for your visitors. Here are a few ways that you can do just that.

3. RSS feeds. Adding RSS feeds to your website or blog helps to keep your site active and updated. And actively updated website or blog becomes very attractive to the search engines as well as your visitors. As long of course as the content remains quality.

4. Podcasts. A podcast is a video file or an audio file that is automatically distributed on a subscription basis. What’s really cool about podcasts is that the user can actually play the audio back on their computer or even better, a mobile device such as their iPhone or cell phone. It’s sort of like having your own personal Internet radio station or even the TV show where you become the star. Technically everything revolves around you or whatever it is you choose to become the focal point of your podcast.

Podcasting does involve a great deal of time since you will be having to provide the information via audio or video and without the right software or equipment this could be a daunting task. However as technology grows so does the ease of providing these types of programs or interactive activities.

In this post I’ve just touched on these different types of Web 2.0 properties. In the coming posts I will take a deeper look into such Web 2.0 properties like that of Twitter, YouTube, social networks like Facebook, and other Web 2.0 properties that can enhance your Internet business and create an environment in inviting to both your visitors as well as the search engines like Google.

Oh, and btw… you can also join Twitter and have people who visit your site follow you on Twitter. I am not currently an avid Twitter-er, so I don’t have that added YET.

The Internet has grown at rocket speeds over the years. In fact trying to keep up with everything that is new from within the Internet is impossible. For just about in every minute there is some type of evolution going on on the World Wide Web.

In the beginning he Internet was considered sort of a one-way street. Websites were pretty much a static environment. There was no interchange of information. And this is the start of Web 1 .0.  For it is an environment in which the viewer does not take part in any type of communication exchange.

For example any personal website would be considered Web 1.0. With the exception of the newer search engines, search engine directories of old or the past, would have to be considered static.

Web 2 .0 is all about an active environment in which both the user, the visitor, and the creator, can all interact with one another in a variety of ways. Web 2 .0 has been considered many different things because in the beginning it was rather confusing to understand this particular concept. Today however Web 2 .0 is becoming much more common with the growth of so many different forms of an interactive World Wide Web environment.

So when you think of interactivity one of the first things that may come to mind would be that of a blog. A blog is a page that gives you an insight into the world of the person creating the blog. However it also gives you an insight into the minds of the viewers as each viewer has the opportunity in many cases to express themselves by means of the comment. And each comment provides the author of the blog an opportunity to respond. And thus you have the birth of the concept and introduction of web 2.0.

Web 2.0 is all about participation so wherever you go online that requires your participation or perhaps the invitation to participate you can feel comfortable and saying that that is the epitome of Web 2.0.
