I just finished watching a “free” video on CPA marketing. I actually didn’t watch the video to learn about CPA marketing, I watched it to learn more about what savvy internet marketers are doing. Videos are the way of the savvy marketer and if you are someone looking to make money online, I’m thinking you’ve really stumbled upon some information that is going to save you thousands of dollars.

Why?

Well, let me just share with you the facts discussed during the video.

1. Over 20 thousand dollars earned in 27 days. Wait – Did they say earned?

During the video they actually talk about their REVENEU. Here’s a quote directly from their sales page…

“We’d Made $20,416.00 In Revenue”

You see, they are not claiming to have EARNED that much money, only to have brought in that much money. This is VERY important. During the video they actually tell you their profit was about $6,000. But, most people will be in such a dreamy state of mind by the time the hear this, they will instantly forget that is the POINT that they should be listening to the most.

Why?

Because they spent over 14,000 to generate $6,000.

How come?

Because in order to figure out which keywords they were paying for that were driving profitable traffic to their offer, they had to monitor and test their campaign. This requires some CPA savvy as well as general internet marketing savvy.

Now let’s take a deeper look at the results.

It cost them 14k to earn 6k. Are these people Newbs? Are they broke? Are they desparate to make money fast?

No, no and nope.

These guys have a huge BUDGET to spend on advertising. How much did it cost them to actually earn $6,000?

Think about it now… think, think, think… Do you think this was the ONLY campaign they ran? Probably not. Is it possible that they ran many different campaigns that broke even or even lost money?

YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!

I’m SICK of people falling for the fast buck. I’m not saying these guys are scam artists, but I am saying they ARE deffinately far more internet marketing savvy then they are telling you.

Making money online is VERY hard work. The best way to do it involves monthly service fees to pay for programs and tools that help you get your work done faster. Sort of like the difference between picking tomatoes by hand and having a machine to harvest them for you. Which person will earn money faster? The one picking by hand or the one with the machine to do it for them?

Another fee you should be aware of is the fee to outsource your chores – which ANY successful business is going to be doing. You don’t see the billionairs who own Walmart working at the checkout stand do you?

No, of course not.

So, what have we learned? Well, you learned that VIDEO MARKETING is an awesome way to get people’s attention if you have the right bait. You HAVE NOT learned how to make money fast or easy with CPA marketing. At least I hope after reading this post you’ve figured that out.

The importance of “knowing” exactly who’s calling your children cannot be expressed enough. Read the following information from the FBI public guide…

“Your child receives phone calls from someone you don’t know or is making calls, sometimes long distance, to numbers you don’t recognize.

While talking to a child victim on-line is a thrill for a computer-sex offender, it can be very cumbersome. Most want to talk to the children on the telephone. They often engage in “phone sex” with the children and often seek to set up an actual meeting for real sex.

While a child may be hesitant to give out his/her home phone number, the computer-sex offenders will give out theirs. With Caller ID, they can readily find out the child’s phone number. Some computer-sex offenders have even obtained toll-free 800 numbers, so that their potential victims can call them without their parents finding out. Others will tell the child to call collect. Both of these methods result in the computer-sex offender being able to find out the child’s phone number.” FBI Public Safety guide.

There are many signs that your children are involved in unwise Internet activity. Some of those sings are:

Unexpected mail and gifts from people you do not know for your child or teen.

Sex offenders and predators will many times send letters and pictures in the mail as well as on cell phones. All types of gifts and images can be sent to your kids, nothing is off limits to these types of evils. In fact, offenders have gone as far as mailing plane tickets to entice children as well as teens into traveling far away from home in order to meet with them.

Have you ever noticed your teen becoming very nervous or edgy when you pass by and they are online? Perhaps they take too long answering the door when you knock.

Children and teens who are looking at pornographic pictures and videos or even engaging in sexually explicit text or chat room conversations do not want you to discover what they are doing. They may suddenly turn the computer screen off or even have a quick window showing homework or other non threatening websites on the screen. They will be ready to get off quickly, and you have to ask yourself, “When does he/she ever get offline that fast when called?”

Your child becomes withdrawn from the family.

No matter how good of a parent we are, our children and especially our teens, become irritated and frustrated with us. This is something that computer sex offenders will use to drive a wedge between children and their parents.

They will use even very minor issues to play to their need for understanding and gain a very dangerous bond with your kids.

Once your child has been a victim of sexual exploitation, conversation etc… they may become very withdrawn and isolate themselves. It is very important to recongize the difference between a tired child or one that is upset over a typical “life” upset, then one that has become a victim of Internet predators.

You may think your child is safe because you do not have the Internet at home.

Asking your child whose number is this or whos number is that can sometimes be difficult for times when it’s most important to know.

Even if you do not even own a computer, you need to realize that your child or teen has access to the Internet. The Internet is easy to access through school, local libraries, at a friends house, and even at local businesses that have free Wi-Fi (wireless) Internet access.

All computers come pre-loaded with Internet and Wi-Fi capabilities. A laptop computer can be easily taken to a location where free Internet services are available. Computer predators will even provide potential victims with an Internet service account to gain easy access for communicating with them.

If you suspect your child or teen has become a victim via the Internet or any on-line situation, you can and should immediately contact your local or state law enforcement agency, the FBI, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Although we’d like to think that our children are safe online, the fact is, they simply don’t tell their us everything they do on the Internet. You may even be shocked to know just how trusting children can be with total strangers. Even to the point of giving them their private information about themselves and their family without any worry over the consequences. This type of trusting nature we find in our kids can expose them to such risks as been stalked by predators in chat rooms and social networking sites.

Schools are not the only place where our children can become victums of bullies. Children and teens can be bullied by their peers as well as adults posing and praying on children online.

It can all start very innocently. Typing in the wrong search word into any search engine can suddenly draw up very bad websites. Some are very explisit both visusally as well as in the content.

Children and especially teens can also downloading illegal music, games and videos that are not only detremental to their young minds, but also highly destructive to your computer.
