STEP ONE:

Create your sitemap using Google's html code. You can download and use the one I have created for you that contains only the most important parts of the video sitemaps. CLICK HERE to view the .txt file. Just copy and paste onto notepad. After you upload this file you want to be sure to change the extension to .xml (very important) If you do not change the extension, it won't work.

Watch the video tutorial for creating video sitemaps, click here.

STEP TWO:

Upload your new sitemap to your website. The file should be called something like http://yourdomainname.com/videositemap.xml  <---- you must use the .xml extension. You can use notepad to create your sitemap, then simple name it videositemap and rename the file with the xml extension. If you don't understand how to do this I show you in the video.

STEP THREE:
Submit it to Google, you can do so by visiting the webmasters tools area. Go to your dashboard and locate the area where you can submit your sitemaps. This is also shown in the video tutorial.
