Not only do they fail, but they spend a lot of their hard earned money on trying to make money online. In addition they lose hours and hours of their life looking at their computer screen hoping to find the answers to getting out of debt – fast. When the reality is they are about to get deeper into it.

I know because for many years I have been there and done that. So, if you are among these people, this post is for you.

Why Do People Fail to Make Money Online?

Because they are stepping into deep water that is infested with some pretty serious sharks. Without the proper equipment and preparations they make rather tasty snacks for these sharks.

How Can You Make Money Online?

You can earn money by selling someone elses product.  This is called affiliate marketing.

You can make and sell your own product. This requires a great deal of experience or you already own a store etc…

You can create a website or blog and sell advertising space. This takes a lot of time and experience as well.

There are more things you can do to make money online but those are the top ways to do it.

The easiest way is to sell someone elses product. There are a great many ways to do this. There are many different opinions on how to approach  affiliate marketing which is where the problem begins. They are far too many ways and far too many programs.

Those are actually not the greatest issues of why people fail. The main reason is because people fall into a sort of “failure to focus” zone. This is the zone where the savvy experienced and financially successful marketers are directing the noobies or rookies. Once they have you in “their” zone, they know you have now become their own personal ATM machine.

They can make cash withdraws from your wallents any time they like.

So, how do you avoid this AMT failure to succeed zone?

You select a program that you feel confident about. You try it. You follow through and you keep track of your progress.

Many of these programs come with a guarantee. If you do your best to follow their plan and you fail, you can request a refund.

So, PLAN to work hard and follow the plan. Do NOT subscribe to a lot of newsletters on how to make money. This will only confuse you.

Do NOT buy any new program or try any new system even if it is suggested even if that is a recommended product from the person you just purchased your new info. product from.

Follow through on the plan or system you just purchased, stick to the plan, and you will either have great success or you will be getting a refund.

And just to clarify. There are a lot of really good programs and the people who sell you those programs usually try and sell you something else. It doesn’t mean they are evil for telling you about a new program. Some of them are in my opinion evil because it is all they do.

What you need to remember is that you are not ready to consider any “other” program until you have fully tried the one you have committed yourself to. And you committed yourself to that product when you purchased it.

FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS – This is the Key to Success!

I just finished watching a “free” video on CPA marketing. I actually didn’t watch the video to learn about CPA marketing, I watched it to learn more about what savvy internet marketers are doing. Videos are the way of the savvy marketer and if you are someone looking to make money online, I’m thinking you’ve really stumbled upon some information that is going to save you thousands of dollars.

Why?

Well, let me just share with you the facts discussed during the video.

1. Over 20 thousand dollars earned in 27 days. Wait – Did they say earned?

During the video they actually talk about their REVENEU. Here’s a quote directly from their sales page…

“We’d Made $20,416.00 In Revenue”

You see, they are not claiming to have EARNED that much money, only to have brought in that much money. This is VERY important. During the video they actually tell you their profit was about $6,000. But, most people will be in such a dreamy state of mind by the time the hear this, they will instantly forget that is the POINT that they should be listening to the most.

Why?

Because they spent over 14,000 to generate $6,000.

How come?

Because in order to figure out which keywords they were paying for that were driving profitable traffic to their offer, they had to monitor and test their campaign. This requires some CPA savvy as well as general internet marketing savvy.

Now let’s take a deeper look at the results.

It cost them 14k to earn 6k. Are these people Newbs? Are they broke? Are they desparate to make money fast?

No, no and nope.

These guys have a huge BUDGET to spend on advertising. How much did it cost them to actually earn $6,000?

Think about it now… think, think, think… Do you think this was the ONLY campaign they ran? Probably not. Is it possible that they ran many different campaigns that broke even or even lost money?

YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!

I’m SICK of people falling for the fast buck. I’m not saying these guys are scam artists, but I am saying they ARE deffinately far more internet marketing savvy then they are telling you.

Making money online is VERY hard work. The best way to do it involves monthly service fees to pay for programs and tools that help you get your work done faster. Sort of like the difference between picking tomatoes by hand and having a machine to harvest them for you. Which person will earn money faster? The one picking by hand or the one with the machine to do it for them?

Another fee you should be aware of is the fee to outsource your chores – which ANY successful business is going to be doing. You don’t see the billionairs who own Walmart working at the checkout stand do you?

No, of course not.

So, what have we learned? Well, you learned that VIDEO MARKETING is an awesome way to get people’s attention if you have the right bait. You HAVE NOT learned how to make money fast or easy with CPA marketing. At least I hope after reading this post you’ve figured that out.

True, there may be techniques and methods that you may not be aware of and thus, they are deemed as ’secrets’ by some. Okay, first off, COME ON People! There are many different tactics to get people to look hard enough to click on a link to do more investigating into the claim. THIS claim has one purpose – to get you to buy a product. That product teaches you how to create awebsite or blog that you can sell advertising spots on.

This is the “PAID” by Google project. You are not getting paid to work for Google. You can earn money by doing what Google does -  Selling Ads like the Google Adwords ads. It’s called may different things and there are several different ways that people use to try and coerce you into buying their program, but the fact is, this has nothing to do with working at home directly for Google.

You can make money with blogs and your website by adding Adsense ads on it. You can also sell little ads on your site or blog. What some people do is they drive traffic to their websites/blogs from other sources, then they themselves sell advertising space on their websites. It’s not a complex way to generate income, but it is a way that is very misleading to the buyers of these programs that are making money by using Googles name.

Locating websites that are highly relavant to your niche website/blog is one way to buy a backlink. This would be one way that I would feel comfortable recommending. As long as you reap good quality traffic from your purchase, it is an acceptable way to achieve backlinks.

If you are going to buy backlinks to your site, you have to ask yourself the question, “What happens to my links once I quit paying?”

There are companies that charge a monthly fee for “x” amount of backlinks to your site. Once you stop paying all of your links are removed. This is the same as holding your site hostage. Why? Because you know that once you stop paying all of those links disappear.

The reason why people go for this type of service is the idea that they will gain a first page position in Google rather quickly for a very small fee. One site charges $20.00 a month for 1000 backlinks. However, those links disappear the instant you no longer pay your monthly fee.

Personally this feels like blackmail and black hat SEO. Your money is better spent building links that will stick . Every dollar spent is spent wisely.

Many people dive into this avenue and they are very successful. Most people ARE NOT! I do not recommend this for a beginner or someone who does not have disposable income – what is that? Do people actually have that? Shish… I know I don’t.

Okay, so the next step is to MASTER your path to profits. If you want to go the way of gaining traffic through Google and other search engines, then make sure you MASTER this before you ever try PPC.

NEXT – Which program is the right program?

Well now, that is a totally different issue. There are far too many programs for me to review and talk about in this post. But I will tell you that I found two programs that I can 100% say guided me to success. Brian Johnson created a series of step by step videos that show you exactly how to sell affiliate programs using SEO for your traffic generator.

I’ve tried another program called, affiliate classroom and I can tell you that it is way to full of fluff and clutter that you’ll never get anywhere. The information is good, but it was so far from a “clear” step by step program that I would NOT recommend it. Sorry Anik, but Netwoozy can’t recommend you. I’d make more money since this program has a monthly membership, but that is not what Netwoozy is about.

WARNING – You have to WORK and FOCUS on Your WORK!

People fail to succeed because they will constantly run after the new “thing”. And the copywriting skills of these online “guru’s” are phenomenal. These guys pay $3,000 to $5,000 and up to have their ad copy written. You will be so ingrossed in the adcopy and believe me, the ad copy is so powerful I don’t go anywhere NEAR them!

Pick a program and follow it. I like Brians program because it can be accomplished in 4 hours a day. I have a part time helper that works for me 4 hours a day. This is my second secret of all time.

Outsourcing your work. Once you find a program that you can work with, it’s time to outsource some of the work load. The only website I don’t outsource my article writing for is Netwoozy. All of my other blogs or websites have articles that are written by people I’ve hired to write for me.

This really is a key to your success. If you can’t afford to outsource, then do it once you have money coming in from your affiliate sales. Spend ever penny of your affiliate sales on outsourcing. Work where your time is most valuable.

Cancel ALL of your subscriptions from Guru’s trying to sell you other programs. This is a MUST if you want to focus. The only thing I read these days is regarding search engine optimization. I try to keep up with Google’s latest changes and updates. I continue to research for new programs that “enhance” my search engine optimization.

However, I am NOT looking for anything new as far as how to make money online. I already know how, I’m making money everyday by promoting affiliate programs. And yes, I am an affiliate for Brian. However, I have purchased many other programs, including joining PPC CLassroom. This program I found was too intense and I decided that Pay Per Click was NOT for me. I don’t like to test and retest and I do not like losing money.

You see, when I spend money to have an article written for me, I know that money is not wasted on testing to see if my ad will work or not.  When it comes to SEO I have truly mastered how to do it and this is where I want to focus my time.
