Netwoozy Gives Back, Backlnks from Blog Comments

Hi Everyone,
This past week or so I’ve had a flood of comments showing appreciation for my posts. Let me share some of them with you so you will understand the difference between what ends up in my spam box and trash vs the comments I keep that can give you a nice backlink to your site or blog.
Spam -
1. Hi buddy, your blog’s design is simple and clean and i like it. Your blog posts are superb. Please keep them coming. Greets!!!
2. i would like to say thanks for this post…. fantastic job.
3. I really enjoy this blog here, thank you very much you will have helped me out greatly spread the love.
The first comment is obviously spam. “Hi Buddy”. Well, it would take you just a few minutes to figure out my name is Chrisi, not Buddy.

There are programs that spam comments on blogs all the time. The second comment ends up in the trash 100% of the time. However, there are actually people who love Netwoozy and may not have time to post a comment of length. But there are a few fast things to do to get you out of the spam box. I actually like that comment. Makes me feel good to know that my time and energy that I put into these posts are appreciated. Plus, I really do want to help people so I like that comment – YET, this too is a comment that ends up in my spambox and it is deleted.
So, if you’re in a hurry and you just want to say thank you and recieve a backlink for taking the time to post, here’s some suggestions…
Mention my name, Chrisi in your comment. Add a quick, “I really liked your post ABOUT…”
For instance,
Hey Chrisi, I really liked your post on the “Dirty little secret”, keep up the good work.
A. My name is used, B. the article title is mentioned. I’d appreciate a few more details if you have the time.
So… if you are one of the people who have come to Netwoozy and posted a “Good job” comment and then returned and thought, HEY CHRISI! Why didn’t you post my comment? Now you know why. 
Here’s another tip.
Get your backlink but inside your little comment text box area, leave your name after your comment. That way if I want to reply to your comment I can address you by name and not by your keyword anchor text.

Well, most of my spam is auto-deleted so I don’t actually have to spend time with it. I just noticed that some people seem to genuinely be commenting on my posts, but don’t realize that their comments are ending up in my spam box due to some of my specific setting adjustments. Do you use Akismet the plugin for WP? You can make some nice presets to filter even more spam out.

You are dead right. I have all sorts of spam comments on my site and all I do is hit the “spam and Trash” buttons.
Its very annoying to see comments that are totally unrelated to a particular post.
I commend you for doing what you have to do.
