Google’s App Inventor, The Plot Thickens

Bringing Home the Bacon N Eggs!

Android Angry Birds AppIf you haven’t heard about Angry Birds, all I can say is – REALLY?

In my ongoing quest to snoop out Google’s evil plot to take over the planet I’ve been side-tracked by the hypnotizing addiction of the Angry Birds game.

This reportedly ultra-fun and frustratingly-difficult game has over 2 millions Android downloads, 30 millions total downloads, and 10 million paid iOS downloads.

Oh, and don’t pretend to know what an iOS is.

(Okay,  I just “Google’d” it and it stands for the iPhone operating system – DOH!)

Anyway, after overcoming my distraction with the Angry Birds I found out that you can create your own Android App! Yep, Google has created this FREE tool that allows you to design your own Apps for the Android. It’s called, App Inventor.

App Inventor looks pretty sweet  The original purpose for this app was to expose students to the computer programming with the idea of helping them get a taste of the creative site of technology. You’ll find plenty of information on the App Inventor site, including FAQ’s, Tutorials and more.

You’re wondering where’s the connection to world domination? Okay, well, you’ll need to step into my head, it’s rather tangled in there, but if you come along with me, you’ll get it.

Google has this amazing assortment of applications (apps) services that the entire world can utilize. Google is THE choice in Search Engines, Youtube (owned by the big G) is THE media choice for video sharing, Google+ is inching it’s way along with the intent of becoming THE choice in Social Interaction…

Okay, you see where this is going now yes?

And now here we have this very cool way to create our own apps. The Google LUV grows between the world and Google. It’s EASY to dominate a territory when your subjects love and adore you.

THINK ABOUT IT

Google World DominationNo single entity (government)  since the Greeks has taken over the world in such a captivating manor as has been accomplished by Google. The offline territory is far too difficult to conquer, however, the Internet, that is a territory of a completely different nature.

It’s in our heads and our wallets people! And that territory is OWNED by the BIG G!

I’m giving you fair warning people, Google’s in truth is a very sophisticated AI with a secret plan to take over our brains via Google for Search, Google for Video, Google TV, Google for Fun, Google, Google, Google!!! !

Twitter Basics, To Tweet and ReTweet

ReTweets – What are They?

How to Retweet on TwitterFirst, what is a ReTweet (RT)? When someone ReTweets they are sharing interesting tweets from the people they are following with their own followers. Thus, the a Tweet becomes a Retweet.

Here’s an example of an RT: (The blue areas are  linked inside Twitter)

RT @kendraboo If you live anywhere near Murray Indiana, @kendraboo is gonna be playing a top secret lil show at Midnight Café on Elms St.

This RT is then ReTweeted over and over again by anyone who lives in Murray Indiana, thus it goes viral and hundreds of people show up at the Midnight Café on Elms St. Which could be good or really bad if the show stinks or there are only 30 seats available for a hungry crowd of 200 people waiting to hear the show.

The benefits of RT’s can be from both sides of the coin. First, when you RT worthy Twitters, your followers will soon learn that it’s worth while to pay attention to your Tweets.

The second benefit of RT’s is when you personally share something of great value, your followers will then RT your Tweets.

How to ReTweet to Your Followers

It’s pretty simple. Just click on the Tweet you want Retweeded, and you’ll see an option to Retweet appear. Watch the video below to see just how simple it is to Retweet.

It’s a sweet way to Tweet.

Success is Learned Through Failure

You bet it is!

Have a look at this quick video. Did you know that Michael Jordon didn’t make the cut when he was young? Can you imagine someone telling Lucille Ball that she was not cut out for acting?

Learning From Our Failures

Yes, we fail. And we do so because we are human. Yep, it’s both a blessing and a curse. We cannot skip the learning curve. We have to take it one step at a time and a lot of times we fall off those steps.

I’m working on a special report and actually an entire series on this subject as in my S M A R T series, but I really enjoyed this video and wanted to share it with all of you who may feel a bit down or disheartened over some failure to achieve success online.

Here’s one of my main failures that I am working VERY hard on:

Sticking to ONE Thing

Thinking I could do more than one thing at a time.

“Stick to ONE thing. Sigh… believe me, I still have issues with this but this year I’ve done better. I have ONE business I’m working on online, my Netwoozy.com website. And I have one business I’m working on offline with a partner. She’s pretty much doing all the work, I’m just helping her out.” This is a quote by “me” in the Affilorama Forum.

Here’s a few more from the thread I started about learning from failures:

“So I would say the mistake for me was not being able to outsource. If I was able to go back, I would work at my job for longer hours in able have the extra money for outsourcing.

Having to do all the work on my own was overwhelming and it caused me to quit before I had a chance to succeed.”

This is one of my favorite comments:

“For me, the biggest mistake is not focusing on what makes money.

It’s easy to sidetracked by a thrill of starting a new site, a new project, etc. Sometimes the ones we already have get so frustrating or boring that we just want to toss them all into the wind and start something completely new.

But every time I’ve spent more time focusing on what already works, my income has increased.”
