There are several ways to buy backlinks to your site. Advertising your site on other websites or blogs is an acceptable way of obtaining backlinks. Google offers pay per click advertising that includes a link to your website. This is not the type of link that adds value to your site, but it is acceptable.

Locating websites that are highly relavant to your niche website/blog is one way to buy a backlink. This would be one way that I would feel comfortable recommending. As long as you reap good quality traffic from your purchase, it is an acceptable way to achieve backlinks.

Instead of paying $3.00 per link in the case of an article submitted to an article directory, what about having your link placed on the home page of a website or blog? Home page backlinks are even more powerful than inner page links.
