Building Internet Traffic – What Is Your Time Worth?

Many people today are trying to increase traffic to their website by spending hours and hours in research. In addition to this they spend money on a variety of software programs and how-to programs to learn how to drive traffic to their websites or blogs.

The question is – is it worth it? What really is your time worth?

In order to bring traffic to your site you need to understand so many things I couldn’t possible cover them in this post, let alone inside Netwoozy. I have over 10 years of experience in this field and a great deal of what I do requires me to “think on the fly”.

For starters, I can tell you right now without any experience in this field, you will need to spend about $200.00 per month on your SEO software programs to help ease some of the work time you’ll need to invest in driving traffic to your site.

Next, you’ll need to spend many hours per week in both research and development of your site.

Last but not “lastly” you’ll have to incorporate a wide variety of strategies that involve web 2.o properties.

Let me give you an idea of what I have done recently for one client who was extremely frustrated with her previous SEO service provider.

Beginning in Oct, 2009, I was hired by a Real Estate agent in one of the top competitive states for real estate. Her goal was to have her website appear on the first page in Google for 4 keyword phrases.

The main keyword phrase she gave to me receives 110,000 searches per month according to the Google Adwords Tool. With over 15 million pages to compete with the main keyword she had me focus on is NOW sitting at number 7. It was positioned at well over 100 in Google.

This took me less than a month to accomplish. Now this is not always going to be the case. The remaining 3 keyword phrases are positioned between 13 to 16 on page two. These keywords were also very far away from the first page in Google, one of them she gave up trying to find as it was over 20 pages down in the listings.
